About

Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church is located near beautiful Okanagan Lake and Kelowna's downtown core. It neighbours St. Joseph Catholic School, a kindergarten to grade seven elementary school.

Originally established as a parish mission by Father Charles Pandosy in 1859, Immaculate Conception Parish has a rich history within the Okanagan. Since its early beginnings, the parish has grown significantly, and new church buildings were constructed to meet the needs of the community. The third (and present) church building was consecrated by Bishop Doyle on December 23, 1962, and although we have said goodbye to the church buildings of yesterday, vestiges of our history can be found within the walls of our current church building.
